Fang Daqi

b.1992, Wuhan, China

Daqi is a multimedia visual artist, photographer and filmmaker. He’s fascinated about humans’ relation to the natural environment and processes. Using digital technologies and platform he project his fantasies for nature in our contemporary life. He produces work using various mediums including different forms of video, projection and photography, installations and writings.

His work has been widely shown in various art galleries and art festivals, including most recentlyAREA Gallery, Boston (2018); Nowolipki Gallery, Warsaw (2018); Berlin Flash Film Festival, Berlin (2017); Slide Room Gallery, Vancouver (2017); Vacuum Gallery, Beijing(2017); HoloCenter Museum, New York(2016). His work has also been featured on publications including A5 magazine (Tel Aviv) and Vision Magazine (Beijing). Currently as an artist fellow in the AIM program of the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Daqi lives and works in New York.
