Zhiying Shi

Female,Ethnic Han,Born in Shanghai in1979.

After graduated with master’s degree from the Department of Oil Painting of Fine Art at Shanghai University, this female artist has been working in Shanghai Oil Painting & Sculpture Institute since 2005. She won the second prize of Best New Artist in The Shanghai Fine Art Exhibition (2001), the prize for excellence in Shanghai Youth Fine Art Exhibition (2003) and the first prize of Shanghai Youth Fine Art Exhibition (2003) and the first prize of Shanghai Youth Fine Art Exhibition (2004). Up to now her works have participated in various major regional and national exhibitions. In 2001, her work The Ceremony of Black Lines was taken into the permanent collection of Shanghai Liu Haisu Art Museum. Her book Young Artists -Shi Zhiying has been published in 2003.
